Planting Details:
Should be planted late May to early June.
The minimum germination temperature for planting is 60 degrees F.
Planting rate should be 7-9 lbs./acre and planted 1 - 1 1/2" deep.
Seeds/lb: 5,000-7,000
About Forage Sorghum:
A warm-season grass that grows 6-12 feet tall.
Coarse-stemmed, ideal for silage production
Can thrive in a variety of soil types, including marginal soils.
Drought resistance helps reduce water input needs.

It is an excellent choice for silage, providing high-quality feed for cattle.
