Planting Details:
Should be planted between April 15th and September 1st north of interstate 94.
The minimum germination temperature for planting is 41 degrees F.
Planting rate should be 8-12 lbs./acre and planted 1/4 -1/2" deep.
Seeds/lb.: 270,000 - 275,000
About Red Clover:
Perennial legume cover crop.
Grows well in cool weather and establishes quickly.
Fixes nitrogen in the soil, improving fertility.
Provides forage for livestock.

Red Clover can be planted with a variety of other seeds to enhance soil health and improve the benefits of the cover crop mix.
Some common seeds to plant with red clover include: Winter Wheat, Oats Barley, Peas, and more.

It also supports beneficial insects and pollinators with its flowers.
